MRA Presentation

Filed under: Professional Musings: Literacy, Libraries, and Learnin — Lavon @ 4:44 pm and

Hello, it’s been a while.  I cannot believe how time flies.  As always I have been so busy that I don’t even have time for the things I know are important and that feed my soul (aka writing and reading for fun).  So…this blogs sits here neglected and alone.

Sonja and I are presenting at the MRA this weekend.  If you were one of the people who attended our session I hope it sparked an interest in including Blogs in your classroom.  The recently added feature of, what I am calling, “sub-blogs” should make classroom use even easier and more safe as well.  Let me know what you thought of the information and/or pose questions by commenting on my post.  If a response is not readily found, drop me an email (it’s on the packet).  Thanks for coming to check out our presentation and my pitiful (so neglected) blog.

  1. Hi Lavon,

Thanks for sharing your experiences blogging with students — as well as many resources — at MRA.

It is good to know that you are finding them more engaged and responsive to one another as you continue to use blogs in your teaching.

    Take care,
    Troy
